Media & Publications Manager, Security Executive Council
Roz Jackson is media and publications manager for the Security Executive Council (SEC), a research and advisory services firm. She also serves as a source of information and support in matters involving workplace violence.
As manager of Georgia-Pacific’s workplace violence prevention program, Roz consulted with and advised managers and human resources professionals in managing potential workplace violence interventions. She was responsible for developing programs to address potential workplace violence issues. After Georgia-Pacific’s acquisition by Koch Industries, Roz continued to monitor workplace violence issues in conjunction with her duties as manager – compliance & ethics.
Roz successfully completed the ISMA Leadership Program as part of Georgetown University's School for Summer and Continuing Education and received in-depth training in workplace violence prevention from nationally known resources such as the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), Gavin De Becker Advanced Training, and Threat Assessment Group (TAG). She was one of five founders and a charter officer of the ATAP Atlanta/Southeast Chapter.
She is a very knowledgeable in the area of domestic violence spillover into the workplace, having completed training and volunteering with the Partnership Against Domestic Violence and serving on a committee to plan its annual conferences on domestic violence spillover into the workplace for several years.
