Michael Phillips is Director of Global Security, Bose Corporation. Bose is driven by its founding principles, investing in long-term research with one fundamental goal: to develop new technologies with real customer benefits. Bose innovations have spanned decades and industries, creating and transforming categories in audio and beyond. Bose products for the home, in the car, on the go and in public spaces have become iconic. With over twenty five years of combined experience in security and investigative operations, Mr. Phillips is responsible for the design of the company’s business-aligned global security program to safeguard the company’s people, brand and property. The team includes Physical, Retail, Product and Supply Chain Security and Brand Protection.

Prior to joining Bose, Mr. Phillips was the Director of Corporate Security for Akamai Corporation, a high- tech company headquartered in Massachusetts.

Mr. Phillips worked for over seven years as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Defense Inspector General‘s Office. He has five years’ experience in Corporate Law as an Associate General Counsel; and also has over eight years of litigation experience between being an Associate at a law firm and as an Assistant City Solicitor for a Massachusetts municipality. He is admitted to practice law before the Massachusetts and Federal Courts.

He received a B.A. degree from Seton Hall University and a J.D. degree from Seton Hall University Law School. He is a former Major in the United States Army Reserve.
