Patrick McCarthy is an accomplished, performance-driven security executive. Pat has a robust and diverse background of more than 20 years of security leadership experience for Fortune 500 companies and has been responsible for the development, direction and leadership of worldwide security functions, processes and programs designed to protect all of an organizationâ€™s assets. In addition to his risk management-based corporate security background, Pat served an 18-year law enforcement career, holding assignments such as major case investigator, field supervisor, training officer and police helicopter pilot.
Pat has designed and led teams that provided all facets of security for companies with both domestic and international locations. Pat created and implemented corporate programs such as executive protection, anti-workplace violence, protection of intellectual property, and physical site assessments. Additionally, Pat has led corporate initiatives such as cross-functional Crisis Response and Communication teams and enterprise-wide Ethics and Compliance reporting. Pat has a deep understanding of security systems and their related software and hardware and holds the two top security-industry certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Protection Professional (CPPÂ®). Pat holds a Masters Degree in Business Ethics and Compliance, a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Management.
