Ken has had a career as proven environmental, health and safety (EHS) professional with over 30 years of experience in the development and implementation of EHS and risk management systems which deliver world class results. Ken also brings extensive experience with sustainability, property protection, workers’ compensation and business continuity planning.
Ken developed the safety and risk management system used at Kraft Foods for over 20 years. Through continuous improvement of the process, tools, and a focus on consistent implementation across the organization, world class safety results were delivered.
The integration of environmental, workers compensation, property protection, business continuity planning and overall sustainability into one lean and extremely effective function was also completed under Ken’s leadership.
Ken is very active across the safety profession. As an American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) member since 1982, he has served on their Board of Directors, the Council of Professional Affairs and Professional Develop Council. He has also served on OSHA’s Whistleblower Protection Advisory Council, NIOSH’s NORA Manufacturing Sector Council and Rand’s Safety Advisory Council. He has twice received the Charles V. Culbertson Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service and the ASSE President’s Award.
Ken is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
