The Senior Director of Global Security Services will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of the global fraud prevention, security awareness and training, workplace violence prevention and training, and investigative services programs for Mylan. This position will also be expected to provide support in the areas of work stoppage planning and response, and fraud auditing for the Corporation, and maintain the governance responsibilities for the security associate program. This is truly a global job with responsibility for supporting the security operations and business needs in all Mylan locations in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Establish and direct due diligence program to conduct inquiries on 3rd party business partners, and provide support and expertise on acquisition due diligence.
*Conduct and supervise security investigations in coordination with appropriate corporate functions and business units, and report findings to the SVP of Global Compliance in accordance with Mylan's Global Compliance processes. Select and supervise external investigative consultants as necessary.
*Establish and lead a global workplace violence prevention and training program.
*Provide security leadership in the areas of work stoppage planning and work stoppage events, in coordination with the VP, Global Labor Relations.
*Assist the Internal Audit Department in developing and maintaining a fraud audit function.
*Establish and maintain global security associate/guard program, in partnership with security operations VPs and site/country level security managers. This includes completing analyses to determine: 1) Whether security associates should be contracted or Mylan employees; and 2) Those locations where associates should be deployed (based on business and security risk). If the company will continue to use contract associates in some or all of the locations where associates will be deployed, consolidate suppliers and conduct Request for Proposal. Establish the fewest number of relationships required, and take other necessary steps to eliminate unnecessary cost, and establish programmatic consistency (training, auditing for effectiveness, uniforms, etc.). If converting existing contract staff, partner with HR and security operations leadership.
*Consult with business unit and regional leadership on wide range of asset protection and loss prevention strategies for manufacturing and distribution operations.
*Maintain relationships and coordinate activities with prosecutors and law enforcement authorities to ensure Mylan's interests are served.
*Establish and direct mail/package screening program, in cooperation with operations, facility and security operations management.
*Conduct analysis of background screening program, in partnership with Human Relations and others as needed (e.g. Legal, external consultant), to ensure Mylan's screening program is consistent with best practices, and effectively identifies high risk candidates.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Knowledge:
Familiarity with US and international white-collar crime/pharmaceutical fraud.

Skills and Abilities:
*5-7 years experience in conducting and supervising white collar crime/pharmaceutical investigations, complex litigation, fraud auditing/forensic accounting or equivalent.
*5-7 years of significant leadership and supervisory experience.
*Accomplished interviewing and negotiating skills, and excellent record of leading people.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Experience in a large complex organization, with multinational experience/global reach. *Maturity, integrity and sound judgment a must.
*Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and possess excellent presentation skills.
*Even temperament with ability to collaborate with a wide variety of corporate, business unit, and external personnel.

Supervision: Position functions autonomously.


-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience required.
-Bachelor’s Degree with advanced degree in Law or Business preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Licenses/ Certifications:
None required.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret comprehensive and intricate research documents;
Ability to write scientific reports and technical correspondence; brAbility to work with executives and communicate abstract concepts; Ability to present to a high level of the organization and groups outside of the organization. Mathematical Skills: brAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve problems with complex variables through nonstandardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis; Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems.

Physical Demands:
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 35%.

Work Environment:
Normal office situation.
