Director Corporate Fraud, Security & Safety

Responsible for the organization's entire fraud detection, credit and investigation teams including security, both physical and digital. This position will develop and implement strategies aimed at mitigating physical and financial risk thus safeguarding HSN, people, business and assets, all in line with the company culture.

This position is also responsible for providing regional HSN teams with the necessary standards, processes and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
*Responsible for end to end ownership of fraud – both strategically and operationally for $2.2 Billion annual sales derived from all HSN sales channels.
*Develop and enforce fraud and credit strategies, including credit model development and measurement related to HSN’s Flex Pay program. The successful candidate will maintain the customer experience while mitigating HSN risk to loss and exposure.
*Develop and maintain the operational policies, processes and execution for the fraud operations team which determines the validity of queued transactions including customer contact and integration of processes with the Sales and Service Center
*Develop organizational policies and procedures that mitigate known risks to employees, client, assets and the business related to security, safety and fraud.
*Provide and implement clear, consistent corporate security and safety strategy aimed at protecting HSN employees, clients, and assets.
*Maintain record keeping of the safety function, including OSHA and EPA reports and logs, as well as other reports for outside agencies and all required filings.
*Analyze business and global trends to determine and plan for both short-term and long-term security operational goals including executive celebrity and corporate events.
*Provide the regional HSN teams with the guidance, tools, processes and training to manage security and safety proactively as well as building emergency response teams and contingency plans.
*Establish a professional outsourced network globally to ensure best practices and measured results.
*Set standards and negotiate contracts with major outside providers.
*Proactively develop safety programs for risk reduction and response to local, regional and global threats. Direct and maintain Security and Safety company-wide awareness programs.
*Actively participate in the company Business Continuity Plan and Emergency Management Team.
*Lead and maintain an effective enterprise wide incident management tracking & response system.
*Establish target areas and long-range accident prevention and cost control objectives.
*Remain abreast of and communicate current updates as they relate to developments and changes in federal, state, and local regulations likely to affect the company as it relates to safety and security.
*Lead contributor to the HSN campus safety committee.
*Partner with HR and Legal to ensure that the standards and procedures meet corporate goals and culture. Qualifications:


*Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement, public safety or police science
*7-10 years of fraud management and credit experience in multi-channel or complex business models
*7-10 years of business experience in security and safety field
*Any combination of formal education, training and/or experience equivalent to the desired qualifications.
*Ability to read, assimilate and recall, with marked proficiency, facts, figures and descriptions, and to search for and obtain information; Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from vast amounts of statistical data.
*Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
*Ability to lead, manage and mentor teams both on site and remotely as well as build relationships cross functionally within the organization at all levels. Build external relationships with agency and departmental personnel.
*Excellent working knowledge of the federal, state, and local regulations related to OSHA, DOT, Fire Code, etc.
*Strong security skills to include investigating, interview and interrogation, alarm and CCTV knowledge.
*Ability to conduct training, to include one-on-one, on-the-job, and large groups.
*Ability to manage teams in obtaining facts that assure investigative information is complete and accurate.
*Strong project management, administrative and organization skills. *Experience developing, implementing and managing complex workflow systems.

Preferred Requirements:
*Vendor management experience.
*Fraud experience in a production or high volume environment.
