Director Operations - Global Security
To manage the strategy for the physical security of all personnel and the infrastructure of the Microsoft Corporation, thereby ensuring a safe working environment that supports the organization and the aims and objectives of its core business within the Americas region. Contribute to Operations Digital Transformation building best-in-class platforms and productivity services for an intelligent cloud and an intelligent edge infused with artificial intelligence (AIÂť).Qualifications:
Lead the Digital Transformation of Operations in the Americas region
Manage the development and execution of complex regional site security strategies and demonstrate leadership and direction to manager(s) ensuring they consistently meet, or exceed, annual commitments. All of which need to be managed in cooperation with local, regional and national law enforcement agencies.
Liaison with the highest levels of Governmental, consular and private sector agencies, to protect and enhance the Microsoft security programme and business accountabilities.
Control the quality of productivity by security operators, through leadership and direction, to ensure the standards of service delivery, reporting and budgetary objectives meet or exceed expectations.
Make considered decisions, and contingency plans, for the immediate resolution of strategic and tactical applications for regional security standards, policy and procedures, through leadership and direction and embrace change to take advantage of business opportunity, for the short, medium and long term.
Take a leading role, on the response to intelligence for the protection of the highest security threat, emergency and contingency planning regarding executive stakeholders, executives and employees of the Microsoft Corporation.

Educated to degree level or an international equivalentHow to Apply:
Demonstrated knowledge of physical security techniques
Minimum 10 years of experience as a manager of corporate, public or private organisations security
Ability to develop, implement and drive strategies designed to meet
Recognised skills at managing and directing activities at multiple geographic locations
Skills at managing vendors and other outside contractors
Ability at directing internal policy, procedures and strategy
High level of inter-personal skills and communication in all aspects and at all levels up to and including Board Level
The ability to work independently and make decisions to maintain organisational objectives
Demonstrated ability to give presentations at Seminars and to high level internal or external stakeholders
Security industry recognised qualification(s)
Management of workforce of minimum 10 people in security or a related industry in Americas region
