Responsible for the development and implementation of security programs, policies and procedures. Serves the executive leadership team as the subject matter expert on security threats and risks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FSMA, CFATS, and C-TPAT. Conduct security assessments of Lamb Weston’s food processing facilities and manage security assessments and audits of third party warehouses and distribution centers. Mentor the facility security coordinators and provide training, direction and counsel where appropriate. Conduct initial and periodic training of facility security coordinators and others as necessary. Assist Lamb Weston facility security coordinators in conducting self-assessments of their facilities and in meeting the compliance requirements of third party auditors.
Oversee the utilization of security systems across the enterprise to include video surveillance, electronic access control, and intrusion detection. Manage vendor relationships with security systems integrators and contract security providers. Provide training where proprietary security officers are utilized. Design and develop security training and awareness programs for delivery at the site level.
Manage the travel security program and monitor of terrorist, criminal, or geo-political threats impacting the Company and employees. Manage the executive protection and event security programs.
Conduct investigations of theft, fraud, drug use, or other security related incidents as directed. Conduct investigations of non-compliance with Code of Business Ethics in collaboration with Legal and Human Resources.
Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate security consultants, investigative agencies and international and domestic law enforcement agencies to ensure the corporation has current information required to protect the corporation’s personnel and physical and intellectual assets.
Bachelor's degree in business, security management, criminal justice, or an area of study relevant to this position. At least ten years experience in a security role in the manufacturing sector, of which three to five years were in a management role. Experience in the food or agriculture sector preferred. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications preferred. Position reports to the senior director of EHS&S.How to Apply:
