Position Summary

The Manager implements JetBlue’s Information Systems Security Program. The Manager is responsible for developing policies and standards; delivering training and awareness to Crewmembers; identifying and managing risk; assessing and correcting vulnerabilities; building security into JetBlue’s systems; and developing a robust information security architecture.

Essential Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day efforts of the Information Technology (IT) Security Crewmembers to deliver the strategy and goals of the IT and Cyber Security team

Oversees the hiring, development and retention of IT Security Crewmembers

Develops and manages working relationships with business units, groups and people with whom work must be coordinated

Create Incident Runbooks

Execute table top exercise to test Incident Runbooks

Defines and develops the JetBlue Information Security Architecture

Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education

Seven (7) years of IT experience

Network-related experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Visio

Knowledge of technology fundamentals and concepts (Microsoft technologies preferred but not required)

Strong interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills including the ability to motivate others

Ability to work effectively with all levels and in diverse environments

Ability to identify and manage risk
