The Deputy Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Assuming operational command of the firm’s cybersecurity and information security programs comprised of people, process and technology aligned to international and U.S. standards (i.e., ISO 27000 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Ensuring the cybersecurity and information security programs are operating effectively and performing within industry-expected norms. Intelligence and threat monitoring, including the operational aspects of the firm’s 24x7x365 security operations center.
  • Cyber incident response (i.e., cyber kill chain disruption, management escalation and support).
  • Internal Investigations (e.g., suspicious activity, intruders, support of Legal & Compliance and/or Human Capital, security assurance observations) Business as Usual Activities

Qualified candidates will have knowledge and applied experience:

  • As a cybersecurity / information security practitioner.
  • As a leader and manager of security personnel.
  • With Information Security risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO27000, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool).
  • As a battle-tested cyber incident response professional.
  • In the techniques and methods employed by bad actors and countermeasures used to disrupt their attacks.
