Emergency Management ManagerOrganization:
The primary purpose of this position is: Serves as the Installation Emergency Manager planning, directing, controlling, and administering the installation’s Emergency Management (EM) programs. Also serves as a first level supervisor planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Emergency Management Activity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
3E9X1 Apprentice Course certification
DoD Hazardous Material Technician Level Certification
Air Force Incident Commanders Course or EOC Directors Course
15+ years related experience in Air Force Emergency Management
Thorough knowledge of the Air Force Emergency Management function, mission, organization, and work processes of programs throughout a military command, complex multi mission local installation, or equivalent, and the relationships of administrative support activities to such missions.
In-depth knowledge of Air Force EM programs, operations, objectives, and policies along with a comprehensive knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems, and procedures to perform a wide variety of analytical projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning.
