We’re currently on the lookout for a Corporate Security Manager who will provide protection for company personnel and property by creating, implementing and maintaining security systems, policies, procedures, and practices. In this new role, you will manage physical security, loss/fraud prevention, crisis/emergency management, business continuity, incident investigations, event security and/or executive protection. You Will

  • Serve as Nikola’s senior security official and provide expert consultation at all levels of the organization
  • Set overall security strategy, security architecture development, and provide functional oversight to security operations
  • Develop, implement, and oversee physical security plans, policies, procedures, and operations for multi-site corporate facilities and operations
  • Ensure Nikola Corporation has the appropriate security and surveillance technology
  • Work in close collaboration with Nikola’s cyber security personnel
  • Define and implement an ongoing Risk Assessment program, which will define, identify, and classify critical assets, assess threats and vulnerabilities regarding those assets, and implement safeguard recommendations
  • Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, personnel and information systems
  • Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions (including incidents involving outside vendors)
  • Collaboratively work with all relevant internal stakeholder groups to formulate proactive communications, change management, and educational strategies to enhance the understanding and cultivate the awareness of security

  • Eight (8) or more years relevant experience including at least four (4) years of management experience
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment
  • Ability to frequently prepare written reports and provide quality customer service
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations, calmly and efficiently
  • Must be well versed in state-of-the-art video and integrated security software/alarm technologies as well as access control systems
  • Solid understanding of information technology and information security
  • Strong working knowledge of pertinent law, investigations, and law enforcement community
  • Ability to manage complex projects including managing to a project timeline, acquiring and allocating resources, ensuring quality deliverables, effective communication and program management
