The Executive Director of NCR Global Security will have responsibility for developing and administering the Global Security budget, liaison closely with international and domestic governmental agencies, work with Business Unit and Regional HR leaders to ensure that customer needs are met while developing global policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and NCR assets, direct oversight of all major physical security planning and installation, participate in risk analysis of customer contracts, work closely with the ELT on numerous projects, issues and travel, ensure that evolving technology is reviewed for possible enhancement of existing systems or possible threats to facilities and networks.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

Global investigations: Responsible for conducting E&C, internal, customer investigations, assist HR in conducting investigations, support physical security team members in conducting RIF’s and conducting site security audits of facilities, work closely with the ATM claims team, work with international, federal, state and local law enforcement, participate in court actions, work directly with customer loss prevention teams on ATM claims, participate directly on conference calls with customers on ATM loss claims

Global Physical Security: Responsible for physical security systems (CCTV & access control) globally, manage repair and maintenance of systems, negotiate contract guard services (3.2 million annually), project management of new construction and retrofits/expansions (I designed the access and CCTV for GHQ and supervised design for Serbia campus) , assist HR in RIF’s, reconcile guard invoices monthly, assist in pulling building access reports for HR

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree (in Criminal Justice or Security field) or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum ten years management and corporate security experience or 15 years experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence public, or private security organization.
  • Demonstrated experience and exposure in the international law enforcement or security arena.
  • Strategic orientation with ability to act tactically.
  • Global perspective, multi-cultural understanding and approach.
  • Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills.
  • High integrity.
  • Strong negotiator/facilitator and consensus builder.
  • Understands principles of process management.
  • Certified Protection Professional or ability to obtain in 1 year.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Special Factors vWill require travel to sites, possibly on short notice. May require international travel.
