Direct and approve the design of security systems within technology Ensure hotel cyber security, including point-of-sale, property management, and eCommerce data security, application security, and infrastructure security Review and approve technology security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning Approve identity and access policies Oversee investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities Maintain a current understanding the IT threat landscape for the industry Ensure compliance with changing laws and applicable regulations Translate that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business Schedule periodic security audits Oversee identity and access management Ensure cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all employees and that compliance is enforced Manage all teams, employees, contractors and vendors involved in IT security Provide training and mentoring to security team members Constantly update the cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information With the CIO, brief the executive team on status and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and necessary budget Communicate best practices and risks to all parts of the business (outside IT) Interface with legal and procurement teams to ensure data privacy and information security are included in global contracts


Bachelor’s Degree with a technology, engineering, or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience 15+ years of experience Experience to include 10 years of progressive management experience with subject matter expertise in information security, data privacy, and/or audit Certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other relevant certifications required or Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification desired We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and make employment decisions without regard to age, race, religion, national origin, gender, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation and gender identity or any other protected class.
