Description:

Coud Cannabis is seeking an exceptional Director of Security and Compliance to ensure safety and compliance in all locations including retail, manufacturing, processing, and cultivation.

Challenges You will Tackle: Strive to continuously improve current vulnerability assessment, depth, quality and capabilities through new processes and use results to refine safety + compliance strategy
Monitoring 3rd party security team to ensure cohesiveness throughout all facilities
Creating and ensuring all SOPs are followed
Maintain visitor logs at all locations
Conduct compliance checks on-site and off-site
Drive security expertise and innovation across all locations including Cloud Cannabis and Brand Labs
Ability to translate and summarize data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of security experience Proficient in incident response Excellent with written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with safety/compliance-related metrics and driving insights from those metrics Strong analytical skills, excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with high-pressure situations 3+ years in a leadership role Nice to have’s: Background in cannabis industry Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred)
