Security Barometer - Are Core Security Programs Being Neglected?

Are Core Security Programs Being Neglected?

The SEC is finding many companies haven't kept pace with change and innovation in their core security programs or services. For example, an incident occurs and they were not as prepared as they thought, or they are being forced to reorganize these programs due to business transformation.

In this Security Barometer we want to find out if the focus has been taken off of core programs in lieu of fire fighting or managing newer initiatives and what the key concerns are for lagging programs.

Please select the core security programs/services your organization has in place and rate them regarding their need of updating: (1 = little needs to be done, 10 =  needs a significant overhaul, "no answer" = program/service not implemented in your organization)
Business Continuity
Event Security
Executive Protection
Incident Reporting (reporting, documentation, and response)
Investigations
Personnel Screening and Backgrounds
