As a Director of the Enterprise Cyber Security Strategy and Project Management Office, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive cyber security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Lead the Cyber Security Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cyber security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies across the enterprise.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of cyber security programs and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to cyber security teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to cyber security governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Drive collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners on cybersecurity matters.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and trends in cyber security, advising senior management on potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage budgetary and resource allocation for cyber security projects and initiatives, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Mentor and develop team members within the Cyber Security PMO, fostering professional growth and succession planning.

Qualifications:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years of program management experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Five (5) + years of experience in cyber security leadership roles, with a focus on strategy development, project management, and governance.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent are desirable.
