2010 Security & Compliance Compensation Survey Now Open

December 10, 2009, Washington, DC—Leading compensation research firm and Security Executive Council strategic alliance partner Foushée Group Inc. is conducting its ninth annual Security and Compliance Compensation Survey. Survey input will be accepted until January 29, and the complete survey report will become available in March.

As companies continue to look for ways to reduce expenses, senior managers will have increasing difficulty justifying compensation levels for their employees with accuracy, particularly when they can’t present reliable and accurate market information on compensation trends in their field. This could leave Security departments vulnerable to budget cuts that could damage their workforce and quality prospects for new hires. Security management will also have a hard time justifying their own compensation in this atmosphere.

The ninth annual Security & Compliance Compensation Survey can help with these significant challenges. It is the only survey focused exclusively on security positions. The Survey Report will include more than 160 pages of text and tables detailing the compensation practices for 73 executive, management, professional and technical positions. Security and compliance professionals can incorporate this data into their compensation planning, thereby maintaining their ability to attract and retain top talent, and ensuring their positions are competitively paid.

Each organization that participates in the 2010 survey will receive the comprehensive printed survey report for $550. An electronic version is also available for uploading most data to the organization’s human resources information system (HRIS). Organizations that do not participate in the survey will be able to purchase the survey report one time only as a non- participant; thereafter, they must participate to obtain a copy of the report. The cost of the Survey Report for a non-participant is $975.

Time is running out to participate. Go to www.fousheesurvey.com to complete the participation order form today.

The Security Executive Council has just released a second edition of the book Security Careers, by Jerry Brennan and Foushée Group’s Steve Walker, which incorporates more than 70 full security job descriptions along with compensation data from the 2009 survey.
