Ted Fahy

Ted Fahy serves as Head of Global Security and Resilience at Organon, where he leads enterprise-wide strategies to protect people, assets, and operations while strengthening organizational resilience across a multinational biopharmaceutical environment. In this role, Ted oversees global security, crisis management, and resilience programs designed to support research-driven operations and complex international footprints.

Ted brings more than 20 years of global security leadership experience spanning biopharmaceuticals, energy, and government service. Prior to joining Organon, he spent many years at Merck, where he most recently served as Executive Director of Global Security and Aviation Group. At Merck, Ted designed and implemented comprehensive, enterprise-level protection and resiliency programs, including protective intelligence, crisis management, business continuity, anti-counterfeiting, corporate investigations, travel risk management, executive protection, and critical asset protection.

Earlier in his career, Ted held regional corporate security leadership roles in Latin America with Arco and Amoco, managing security operations in complex, high-risk environments. His work in the region required close coordination with government and community stakeholders, oversight of aviation and incident management, and hands-on leadership in environments marked by political, criminal, and operational risk.

Ted’s professional foundation includes service as a Senior Special Agent with the U.S. Naval Investigative Service, where he provided force protection and counterintelligence support for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps operations in Panama. This experience continues to inform his disciplined, intelligence-led approach to security, resilience, and risk management.

Throughout his career, Ted has been recognized for creating innovative security strategies, organizational designs, and change management approaches that align security programs with core business objectives. His work emphasizes practical resilience, ensuring continuity while enabling business leaders to operate effectively in challenging environments.

Ted is a committed lifelong learner. He holds an Executive Master’s degree in Leadership from Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of South Alabama, and an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Panama Canal College.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Ted is known as a mentor and team builder, having developed and led global security organizations while guiding professionals in building scalable, resilient security programs. He is widely respected for his ability to integrate operational security, intelligence, and resilience into cohesive strategies that support both people and business performance.
